These Diamonds dramatically set the world record for the most expensive pair ever auctioned after being sold for $56.4 million. The blue and pink pear-shaped diamonds, named Apollo and Artemis, were auctioned off at Sotheby's last night. Moreover, sold separately the same buyer purchased both pieces—the blue within $41 million and the pink for over $16 million.
